HOW WE WORK

A clear process for material and asset transactions.

An enquiry starts a review of the material or asset, source, quantity, condition, location and commercial objective. If a viable route appears possible, Neptune works through counterparties, responsibilities and terms before any transaction is agreed. The sequence is adapted to the material and parties involved.

No transaction is assumed viable until the material, economics, responsibilities and requirements have been reviewed.

PROCESS / 07

THE COMMERCIAL SEQUENCE

Seven steps from initial brief to close-out.

Each stage helps surface fit, risks and responsibilities before a commitment is made.

01

Understand the requirement

Clarify what is available or required, who owns it, where it is located and what outcome the organisation is seeking.

02

Review material and asset information

Consider the specifications, grade, quantity, condition, source, buyer criteria and any relevant site or handling constraints.

03

Assess commercial feasibility

Look at expected purchase and sale terms, transport and handling, testing costs, direct transaction costs, payment timing, working capital and counterparty risk.

04

Identify suitable counterparties

Where the opportunity fits, identify relevant buyers, suppliers, refurbishment providers or downstream partners for a discussion.

05

Agree terms and responsibilities

Confirm scope, transaction model, acceptance criteria, delivery steps, documentation and each party's role before execution.

06

Coordinate execution

Coordinate agreed hand-offs and transaction steps with the responsible parties and providers.

07

Reconcile the transaction

Close out the agreed quantities, documentation, costs and payment responsibilities against the transaction terms.

WHAT WE REVIEW

Commercial feasibility is more than a headline price.

A transaction review may include purchase price, expected selling price, transport and handling, testing, direct costs, payment terms, working capital and counterparty risk. For precious-metal-bearing materials, recovery value is also shaped by composition, grade, condition, testing, buyer specification and downstream economics.

These factors are considered for the particular opportunity; the website does not represent indicative prices, recovery yields, guaranteed purchases or trading results.

ROLE CLARITY

Every party's responsibilities should be visible.

Neptune's role may involve sourcing, commercial assessment, trading, brokerage or coordination. Physical processing, refining, refurbishment, secure data services, regulated collection or recycling may be performed by qualified or suitable partners where applicable.

Partner capability and permissions are assessed for the specific scope. A commercial introduction does not replace a party's own regulatory obligations.
